Have you ever sat in a science presentation and wondered, "but what inspired you to do this work?" or "what's actually going on behind the scenes?" or "was there ever a moment you thought this wasn't going to happen?" If so, Light Speed Lectures is for you. Rather than traditional science presentations, our nationally prominent scientists will take you on a journey through their individual stories and of those they work with discussing topics including how they got to where they are, why they stick with it, and how it's all making a difference in science and the broader world. Presentations will take place from 6pm-7:30pm in the CPAC theater followed by a star party on the patio hosted by the Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association.
