When we talk about our founding fathers, we usually refer to them collectively with that inanimate moniker, “The Founding Fathers”, and thus they lose their humanity and become for us just marble statues in front of Federal buildings and at historic sites across the country. But they were real men, individuals, like George Washington, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison, each with his own story to tell.
