Fee:  Includes Lux archival pastel paper, boards, tape, brushes, and some watercolors:  $270, $245 if paid in full October 6, 2026

This 2-day workshop will focus on beginning a pastel landscape painting with either a hard pastel plus alcohol wash or a watercolor underpainting. This allows the artist to complete the painting with strokes that achieve a much more looser style to their painting. We will choose subjects from a variety of pictures that I provide. This workshop will focus on the landscape with dramatic skies and how that sky is portrayed in water. This workshop is for beginner or intermediate pastel painters.
