In this workshop, Roberta will demonstrate the use of collaged rice paper and free flowing watercolors to encourage students to experiment with shapes, textures, and colors for outrageously creative florals. Edge differences (sharp, distinct boundary versus smooth, seamless transition), composition, and value changes are a few ideas addressed in this class. This new method of combining free flowing watercolors and specialty rice papers opens new possibilities and new approaches to each student's work.
