The 4GENTS have been burning up dance floors, shaking down music halls and melting hearts with their remarkable vocal talents since 2015. Specializing in doo-wop and popular vocal music mostly from the 50's, 60's and 70's, these crooners have diverse backgrounds in opera, musical theatre, film, music education and pop music! This allows them to perform nostalgic hits with flair and their own distinct style while still keeping the heart and essence of the original music.
Juan Aguirre made his professional debut in 1997 with Arizona Opera and since then has performed all over the world in both classical and popular genres. He has been featured in many roles such as Javert and Capt. Von Trapp and recorded two CDs. Juan can also be seen and heard on national TV and radio as a bilingual actor and voice over artist.
Dr. Greg Guenther resides in Tucson, performing with multiple professional opera companies in Arizona. Internationally, he has won awards in the ICCA competition as well as local accolades, such as the President's Competition, Quest for the Best, and NATS. In Tucson, he teaches with TUSD’s OMA program and is on faculty at Pima Community College.
Matthew Holter is a performer with a wide range of abilities in music, dance and theatre having performed and directed around internationally in England, China, and Russia to name a few. Mr. Holter is the founder of the 4GENTS, a member of the Grammy nominated ensemble True Concord and is an award-winning music teacher.
Chach Snook is a performer with numerous credits under his belt both on the stage and directing. Chach enchants audiences with his clarion voice and presence. Mr. Snook was a member of NY-based vocal ensemble Pieces of Eight before moving to Tucson where he has continued actively performing while earning Teacher of the Year as an outstanding fine arts teacher.
